[TERMS OF SERVICE · DRAFT FOR LEGAL REVIEW]

Terms of service.

The terms that apply when your organisation and its team use ToneBridge, provided by [M7 legal entity name] (“M7”, “we”). Your organisation is “you”.

The agreement

These terms form part of the order form or licence agreement your organisation signs with M7. Where the two differ, the signed agreement wins. The privacy notice explains how personal data is handled, and a data processing agreement is available on request.

Accounts and access

  • M7 creates your workspace; your brand owners then invite and manage your team within your seats.
  • Accounts are for named people. Keep sign-in links private and don’t share accounts. You’re responsible for what happens under your workspace’s accounts.
  • Tell us straight away at hello@tonebridge.io if you suspect an account has been misused.

Acceptable use

Don’t use ToneBridge to:

  • break the law or anyone else’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy;
  • process content you have no right to use;
  • produce content that is deceptive, defamatory, hateful or harmful;
  • probe, overload or get around the platform’s security or limits, or access another workspace; or
  • build a competing product, or copy the platform or its models’ output at scale to do so.

Your content

You own the content you put into ToneBridge and the translations it produces for you, including your terminology and voiceprints. You give M7 permission to host and process it only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the rights needed to do so.

Your content is never used to train AI models, and never shared with other clients.

AI output and approval

ToneBridge uses AI to adapt your content, then checks the result against your terminology and voice. AI output can still be wrong, so it is a draft until a person on your team approves it. You decide what to publish, and you’re responsible for approved content, especially legal, regulated or safety-critical text.

Licence and fees

Your plan, seats, limits, fees and licence period are set in your order form. If the licence expires without renewal, the workspace is locked. Nothing in it is deleted, and everything returns as soon as the licence is renewed.

Availability and support

We work to keep ToneBridge available and secure, and may improve or change it as it develops. We’ll give notice of planned maintenance where we can, and of any change that removes a feature you rely on. Support is by email at hello@tonebridge.io, with any service levels set out in your order form.

Our platform

M7 owns ToneBridge, its software, design and documentation. You receive the right to use it for your organisation during your licence, and nothing more. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the product.

Suspension and ending

  • We may suspend access if these terms are seriously broken or the platform’s security is at risk, and will tell you why and restore access once it’s resolved.
  • Either side may end the agreement as set out in the order form.
  • When it ends, you can export your content for [30 days]; after that, the workspace and its content are deleted.

Warranties and liability

Apart from what the signed agreement promises, ToneBridge is provided as it is, without other warranties to the extent the law allows. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each side’s total liability is limited to [the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim]. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by [Governing law and courts].

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version appears here with its effective date, and we’ll tell clients before a material change takes effect. Questions go to hello@tonebridge.io. [M7 legal entity name], [Registered address].
